Our Policy

RENTAL PERIOD

Our hire period is 4 days. We recommend you plan for your event to fall on the third day in the (rare) case of late delivery.

SHIPPING

Items are shipped via Express post, arriving on or before the first day of your loan period. For rural customers, distance from the metro may result in longer delivery time.

Unless specified when booking, all parcels are marked with authority to leave in a safe place. It is then the customer’s responsibility to ensure the item is collected and not lost or stolen.

Following the final day of your hire period, please use the prepaid return postage satchel included in your order to post the dress back to us. It is highly recommended you lodge this return at an Australia Post Outlet, where it will be scanned over the counter as proof of lodgement on time.

Late fees of $25 per day apply for items not lodged for return in time.

BOND & PAYMENTS

Orders are dispatched once full payment (inclusive of the bond plus the hire fee) is received.

A $100 bond is held for all hires and is released once the item is returned in its original condition.

In case of damages, a portion of the bond may be held to pay for repairs. Should an item be returned in an irreparable condition such that it must be replaced, the bond, (plus any additional costs to make up the full retail price of the item) is retained.

REFUNDS & RETURNS

In the case that you are unhappy with the fit of your item, please let us know within 24 hours of delivery, and post the item to be returned, in order for a full refund to be issued.

If your item does not arrive in time, you will be issued a full refund. If the order is classed as a last-minute order (i.e., placed 2 days or less before the event), a partial refund will be issued.

Items must first be assessed for their condition before a refund can be approved and processed.

In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged/faulty item, please send us photo evidence and arrange a return within 24 hours in order for a refund to be issued.

CANCELLATIONS

In the event that your order needs to be cancelled, please let us know at least 5 days beforehand for a full refund to be issued.

Should you cancel less than 3 days in advance, your item/s will likely have already been shipped. Hence, $30 is deducted from the refund you receive, in order to cover two-way express postage expenses.

DRY-CLEANING & DAMAGES

All items are steamed prior to sending, however can become creased in the post. If you receive an item with slight wrinkling, you can hang the dress in a steamy bathroom to de-crease it.

No attempts should be made to clean, alter, iron/press garments.

We understand that accidents can happen. Please alert us to any stains, spills or tears that occur during your hire period. Our team will take care of dry-cleaning for you and repair minor damages.

Should an item be damaged (torn, frayed, irremovable stains etc.) in a way that cannot be repaired by our team without making significant changes to the original condition of the item, you will be liable to pay the cost of a replacement (i.e. charged the full retail price of the item).
